COVID-19 concerns prevented a formal grand opening, but local media covered move-in week at the Willie J. Wynn Apartments on July 30, 2020.

Reporter Mike Stefansson interviewed RHA Executive Director Amy Jones about the need for affordable senior housing in our community, the challenges posed by a pandemic during construction, and the amenities of the facility. The son and a daughter of namesake Willie J. Wynn expressed their happiness with the apartments as a fulfillment of their father’s goal of affordable housing for all. (Reverend Wynn served on the RHA Board of Commissioners.)
