Workforce Development

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Think about it. In five years, you could have a job you love, stable transportation, childcare you can afford and a savings to use as a down payment on a home for your family. Those are goals Workforce Development can help you achieve.

What is Workforce Development?

Workforce Development’s mission is to help housing residents reach their fullest potential in a program called Traditional FSS. But this isn’t any ordinary program. Watch the video below to see how it works!

Who’s eligible to participate in Traditional FSS?

All head of household residents who are in good standing with the Reno Housing Authority and looking to increase their earned income through furthering their education, opening a business or searching for new employment.
