Project Based Vouchers
The Reno Housing Authority (RHA) is seeking proposals for our NSP2 Project Based Voucher program. This program is designed for investors to acquire 2 & 3 bedroom homes in three designated target areas. The investor will bring the homes to be placed under the program to a high energy efficiency and low water usage standard including xeriscaping of lawns. The Housing Authority will refer applicants as renters for investor properties for a period of 10 years utilizing project based vouchers. This voucher may only be used to assist families referred by the RHA to rent an approved property. The Housing Authority’s goal is to issue 100 of these special use vouchers over the next five months.
The list below includes everything in the packet sent by RHA to prospective landlords. It also includes the full version of the HAP contract if you would like to review the full contract.
